Our loyal readers should know by now just how much we love dogs at le•top – so we can’t help but share our cute dog stories with you. Dogs have always inspired us! At this time of the year check out our puppy, please! collection while we share puppy celebrations that bring smiles to our faces.
Sylvia, our EDI expert, is mommy to a rambunctious 1 year old black lab named Cosmo…as in Kramer from the Seinfeld show. (déjà vu) Cosmo was a rescue dog, and Sylvia was 1 of 7 chosen hand picked mommies from over 100 applicants that vied for the chance to adopt Cosmo, his brothers and sisters, and his “biological” mom. This group of chosen mommies, and the foster mom who rescued the matriarch and her 5 day old pups, have banded together – creating a magical extended family. They have become so close and are so touched by these pups’ story that they find it hard to separate these lucky dogs for too long.
Cengx (our wonderful “style supporter” and A+ girl-Friday’s) incredibly energetic Pomeranian Charemie is always prancing in with the newest le•top outfit – an ‘original’ design that Cengx has customized in a truly unique kind of haute couture. (We always know when Charemie is in the house – his little voice carries through walls!) Karen loves to dress Olive (the wonder dog) in her New York Yankees outfit – whether to flaunt her loyalties at her sons’ baseball games, or make a simple fashion stroll around the office, aimed towards torturing loyal Giants and A’s fans! Riley, Marilyn’s rambunctious rescued German Sheppard mix has long made his mark – he loves playing in his le•top namesake costume (Halloween will be a big day for Riley!) We would be amiss if we did not mention our more contemporary collection…Rolando, the head designer of rabbitmoon, is always pushing the trends! He loves creating fashion-forward garments for his Chihuahua Rooye. Why copy another rabbitmoon style – he creates chic styles for this fashion forward pup that we just had to share!
You have heard us say over and over about how much we love our pups here at le•top. Well, I think we have taken it to a whole new level. Cengx (pronounced Chay-ng), one of our star team members in the le•top warehouse, brought in her new puppy awhile back with a very familiar, and yet, unfamiliar, outfit on him. We all did a double-take at what he was wearing because it was none other than our le•top “fireman” coverall from a previous season, which she had cleverly redesigned into a doggy romper (of sorts)! Did I mention that we are not only creative in our designs for babies and kids, but it turns out, in our adaptations for dogs as well?!? Although you can’t buy this one-of-a-kind doggy outfit anywhere, you sure can make an attempt at morphing your baby’s outgrown le•top outfits into pet clothes.
