Kristin Davis is a new mom!

Sex and the City star, Kristin Davis, confirmed that she welcomed daughter Gemma Rose Davis through a domestic adoption a few months ago. For those that don’t remember, the name Rose is the same as her character’s adopted daughter on the show.

Davis told PEOPLE. “This is something I have wanted for a very long time. Having this wish come true is even more gratifying than I ever had imagined. I feel so blessed.”

Denise Richards plus 3!

We couldn’t be more thrilled for actress and mom of two, Denise Richards, for becoming a mom again! Richards, 40, just adopted a baby girl domestically. Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise’s mom (Joni), and Denise and daughters Sami (7) and Lola (6) chose the name Eloise. Shortly after the news broke last week, Richards posted a message of appreciation to her fans on Twitter. “Thank you all for your sweet messages,” she Tweeted. “The girls and I are over the moon and so is my dad Grandpa Irv…xo” Richards’ first two girls are going to be a great team with new sis Eloise! Mariska Hargitay’s Baby Surprise

Law & Order: SVU star, Mariska Hargitay, told People magazine that she and her husband, actor Peter Hermann, have adopted a baby girl.

Amaya Josephine was born about a week ago and is from the United States. The whole family was part of the naming process but in the end it was an adaption of Hargitay’s favorite girl’s name, Maya. 

“I like that name, but I wanted her to have the same initials as August,” the actress said. “I thought adding the ‘A’ was so feminine. Amaya sounded so open and feminine and beautiful — just like her.” 

The couples’ son, 4½ year-old August, is beyond excited about his new little sis.

“He is over the moon,” says the actress. “He calls her his baby because he says the whole thing was his idea. He always talks about how he’s going to protect her. He’s going to be a great big brother.”

So CUTE! We couldn’t be happier for you.

A Beautiful Family is “Born”

Katherine Heigl, Dr. Izzie Stevens on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and Josh Kelley, singer and songwriter have a new member of the family.  They welcomed their new daughter, Nancy Leigh – Naleigh for short – last week.  Heigl and Kelley have been waiting for this moment for over 6 months – Naleigh was adopted from South Korea and is 10 months old.

Heigl announced the news on the Ellen DeGeneres show saying “she was actually born the day before me in November, which I thought was really serendipitous and just kind of like a sign.”  At a concert at Miami University Kelley introduced a song he had just written about Naleigh, singing the lines, “Just to see you in mommy’s arms is all I need.”  So sweet!
