Comedian Tina Fey Welcomes Daughter Penelope Athena

Actress Tina Fey, already mom to 5-year-old Alice, has introduced a new addition to the family. The 30 Rock star welcomed a healthy baby girl, Penelope Athena Richmond, last Wednesday with her composer husband Jeffrey Richmond, 50. Jane Krakowski Welcomes a Son

Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Jane Krakowski, 42, of 30 Rock has welcomed a baby boy with fiancé Robert Godley, a British menswear designer. We think our Le Top Baby “Set Sail!” Collection terry hooded jacket and pants would be perfect to bundle him up in his new home. It is a sweet ensemble just in time for the coming Memorial Day holiday. 

She gave birth to Bennett Robert Godley on Wednesday, April 13 in New York City. Their baby boy has blond hair like Mom and weighed in at 7 lbs., 12 oz. This is a first child for both parents.

“Bennett is an amazing, healthy sweet boy and we are both just crazy in love with him,” Krakowski told PEOPLE.

Krakowski and Godley, who have been dating since 2008 were engaged over the holidays and made the announcement in January, the baby news followed quickly after.

Tina Fey has baby #2 on the way!

It’s official. Tina Fey, comedienne/actress, revealed that she was 5-months pregnant with her second child while taping the Oprah Winfrey Show yesterday. She and her husband, composer Jeff Richmond, are also parents to 5 year-old daughter, Alice.

The news comes just a day after Fey’s 30 Rock co-star Alec Baldwin announced that their hit sitcom will come to an end next year (12).

In her book “Bossypants,” Fey, 40, wrestled with the idea of having another child.

“I thought that raising an only child would be the norm in Manhattan, but my daughter is the only child in her class without a sibling,” Fey wrote. “Most kids have at least two.”

Fey also wrote about how being a parent changed her as a boss.

“The biggest thing you realize when you have a kid is how many other people in your workplace are dealing with that,” she wrote. “When you’re single, you’re like, ‘Let’s work ’til 10.’ You don’t care. Once you have a kid, you’re like, ‘Oh yeah, if I’m exhausted because my kid was up all night with a cold, so are 10 other people.’ It makes you more of a sympathetic human being.”

In my opinion Fey has to be one of the brightest, funniest and most talented people around. Congratulations to the happy family from all of us at Le Top!

Elizabeth Banks is a Mom

Elizabeth Banks, who recently played Avery Jessup on 30 Rock, welcomed son Felix with husband film producer Max Handelman via gestational surrogate last week.  

On her website she explains how fortunate she has been but revealed that “The one true hurdle I’ve faced in life is that I have a broken belly. After years of trying to get pregnant, exploring the range of fertility treatments, all unsuccessful, our journey led us to gestational surrogacy: we make a “baby cake” and bake it in another woman’s “oven”.

Elizabeth went on to say “From that came two miracles. The first was meeting our carrier and her husband who were truly humbling in their decency and generosity. And the second miracle was the birth of our baby boy, Felix Handelman. Felix means “happy” and “lucky” in Latin. And true to his name, Felix is a very happy baby and a blessing on our life.”

Banks and Handelman met in college in 1992 and married in 2003.

Felix is one lucky boy to have such a funny and talented mom. I’m sure he will return the favor by making her laugh with all those adorable things babies do. We think Le Top’s “Farm Friends” one-piece romper would be a happy start for this spring baby. Congrats mom and dad!
