We couldn’t be more thrilled for actress and mom of two, Denise Richards, for becoming a mom again! Richards, 40, just adopted a baby girl domestically. Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise’s mom (Joni), and Denise and daughters Sami (7) and Lola (6) chose the name Eloise. Shortly after the news broke last week, Richards posted a message of appreciation to her fans on Twitter. “Thank you all for your sweet messages,” she Tweeted. “The girls and I are over the moon and so is my dad Grandpa Irv…xo” Richards’ first two girls are going to be a great team with new sis Eloise! The most fit baby to come! Jillian Michaels is adopting!

We just learned that fitness guru and Biggest Loser host and star, Jillian Michaels, is about to become the biggest/best mommy! She announced this past December that she would be leaving The Biggest Loser to concentrate on starting a family, 

“I’d like to take a year off of television and really focus on — I’m in the middle of the adoption process — and really focus on that and hopefully becoming a mother in the next year and putting all my energy into that for awhile.”

Michaels is unsure whether she’ll be welcoming a baby boy or girl — but insists at her age there is no preference! She will hopefully be bringing home a future kiddo in the next 6 months. We hope Le Top’s latest arrivals will be on the top of her list to buy for her child’s fitness and stylish wardrobe.

Animals Dress Up for Adoption

For over 32 years, Le Top has been creating quality playwear as a family-owned company based out of sunny Richmond, California—just across the bay from San Francisco. We love to support local non-profit organizations and recently learned about the Contra Costa Animal Services adoption department and their fun Halloween adoption event. Our trusty and loyal Le Top Customer Care team member, Marilyn, helped out at a local Martinez branch where they dressed up animals that are waiting to be adopted in Halloween costumes!

We thought you would enjoy these photos, and possibly be interested in adopting a cute pet – that would be a sweet Halloween treat!

A Beautiful Family is “Born”

Katherine Heigl, Dr. Izzie Stevens on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and Josh Kelley, singer and songwriter have a new member of the family.  They welcomed their new daughter, Nancy Leigh – Naleigh for short – last week.  Heigl and Kelley have been waiting for this moment for over 6 months – Naleigh was adopted from South Korea and is 10 months old.

Heigl announced the news on the Ellen DeGeneres show saying “she was actually born the day before me in November, which I thought was really serendipitous and just kind of like a sign.”  At a concert at Miami University Kelley introduced a song he had just written about Naleigh, singing the lines, “Just to see you in mommy’s arms is all I need.”  So sweet!

A Trip to Ethiopia

The DeAndrea family of five...soon to be six!

This is one big-time, “Wow!” email I got from a great voice-over talent with whom I work from time to time. He sent a little note earlier this month to say that if there were any recordings I needed, I’d better send over the script soon because he and his wife were headed to Ethiopia! They were planning for an early May trip to meet and then bring home their adopted daughter!! Their last hurdle before taking off to Ethiopia was a court date, where 50% of adoptive parents pass/don’t pass the first time. I just got an email saying they’d “passed” their court interview and were now officially Fasika’s new parents!! Congratulations!! I’ll make some updates once they bring 10 month old Fasika home!
