Here are today’s Darlings, Tyson and Tanner (13-months-old), at their first meeting with Santa. This is such a classic photo and absolutely amazing that they cooperated SO well. Let’s hope it’s a sign of things to come! These brothers were born 4.6lbs and 4.9lbs and spent the first three weeks of their life in the NICU though they are obviously doing great now! Congrats mom and dad on your handsome boys.

I just got back from vacation with my fiancé’s family who has two nieces that are 4 and 2-years-old…their eye contact and non-verbal, as well as verbal skills are off the charts. I was observing my sister-in-law to be, and noticed how amazing her eye contact is with the kids and agree with her that appropriate eye contact plays an important role in non-verbal communication with kids.
