Yogurt is a good option for helping your children meet their calcium and vitamin D needs. According to the 2005 Dietary Guidelines from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, children should eat two to three daily servings of dairy products such as milk, cheese or yogurt. A serving is 1 cup of milk or yogurt. You can eat the yogurt on its own as a snack, or make it a balanced breakfast by having it with a whole grain cereal and some fruit.  Yogurt is a nutritional powerhouse that boasts plenty of calcium and phosphorus, two nutrients vital to bone growth and strength.

What else can yogurt be great for? Teething! Make these teething pops to sooth your baby. How?
