First baby for Emily Deschanel

Emily Deschanel, who plays forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan on FOX hit ‘Bones,’ and her husband writer-actor David Hornsby are expecting their first child, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The couple who had been dating since 2007 were married in a small ceremony in Pacific Palisades, California last September. The actress is due later this year.

Being a huge ‘Bones’ fan I’m wondering if her baby will make it into the story line. Will it be Booth’s?

Wow, what a difference a week makes.

Here in California the weather has changed. We are now experiencing more typical springtime conditions. It’s mostly sunny with brisk mornings and afternoons in the mid-60s to 70s. Sure we will get occasional showers but I’m hoping that’s it. What this means for us is a chance to get out the spring / summer clothing. Lilah wore her Le Top “School of Fun” racerback top and capri pants on Friday. She loves them for their comfort, bright colors, and fun fishes. I just think she looks adorable.

Yay spring! 🙂
