Le Top Chef Series: Orange Creamsicle Jello

A refreshing summer recipe that is a hit with kids of all ages and adults too! Thank you Linda for passing this family favorite on to us.
- 1 large package orange Jello gelatin
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- ¾ cup orange juice (low or no pulp)
DIRECTIONS:
- Pour Jello into a large bowl.
- Boil water and add to Jello and dissolve.
- Soften the ice cream (put into microwave on defrost for 2 minutes).
- Add softened ice cream to Jello and stir until completely dissolved.
- Add orange juice and mix well.
- Pour into Jello mold, large clear glass bowl, or separate serving cups.
Chill for 3-4 hours. Then serve as part of your meal or as a dessert.
