Here is a sneak peak of Paulo getting all made up by Peggy (le•top's hair and make-up stylist) while wearing a coverall from le•top's T-Rex Touchdown Collection for Fall 2010.
This was Paulo’s first modeling gig for le•top. He’s been photographed before, but I don’t think Mommy with a camera in his face counts as “modeling experience.” 🙂
Since this was the first time in a professional environment for both of us, I was all nerves making sure we made it on location ON TIME (despite traffic and rain), I didn’t introduce any new foods to him two weeks prior that might make him break out in a rash all over his face, and lastly, I hoped and prayed that he would be cooperative and smile easily in front of everyone at the shoot. Phew… We nailed all three! We got there early, no food allergy reactions, and it took only a few minutes to get him photographed. Thank goodness! (And thanks to a little rubber ball which we bounced a few times in front of him to get him to laugh.) What a rock star!
When Lilah was modeling for us I was all nerves (which made her nervous and shy) plus she always ended up hurting herself (think big chunk out of her face) a day or two before the shoot. Modeling is not her gig. I’m happy to hear it was painless for you both. I can’t wait to see the photos!
It was so fun to see you and Paulo back at le top! I am glad this was a great experience for you both and we are sure looking forward to our next shoot with Paulo!
Lilah sounds like Miranda. She hurt herself the day before picture days. At preschool for 3-year olds, she got stitches on her chin. At preschool for 4-year olds, she got a goose egg on her forehead. Kindergarten pics, we were injury-free!
I can’t wait to see the photos, too!
Jamee, that is so funny! At daycare they actually told me to stop telling them when the photo shoot was coming up because it would make them overreact when she was doing something and scare her (making her fall.) Miranda seems to love getting her picture taken. At least it seems that way in her photos.
Jamee, I had no idea how much work the models put in (like not eating new food before the shoots)! It was all worth it, because he looked super cute & he is such a sweetheart! 🙂
