Moms’ Double Trouble

Miranda in Flamingo Bay (left) and Sophia in Strawberry Fields
A couple of weekends ago, we drove down to Southern California to attend a baby shower I’d been invited to. Knowing that the weather there is always much warmer than the San Francisco, I packed summer wear—mostly le•top outfits—since it’ll be awhile before we really get to wear them here in the Bay Area. We met up with my cousin and her kids at a park so that my daughter (Miranda) and her daughter (Sophia) could get some play time. They’re like sisters, these two. We call them “Double Trouble.” They’re both bossy and like to pick on the boys.
I was delighted to see Sophia in the le•top Strawberry Fields dress that I sent to her as a birthday gift. Meanwhile, Miranda was decked out in my favorite le•top collection, Flamingo Bay. What’s fabulous is, that although these outfits are from two different collections, they complement each other very well! Perfect for sisters, twins, cousins, friends — who like to dress alike but not exactly the same.

I love this photo….both very cute outfits! I really like the dress…looks so breezy and comfy and cool! And let me guess, Sophia must be 6 or seven…given the missing front tooth? They look like they had a fun day at the park!
They did have fun – came back all filthy, which is new for Miranda (my little clean freak). You’re right, Sophia is 6.
At least, Miranda kept her shoes on…Sophia’s feet were BLACK from the playground and the recycled tires as ground cover. Remember, Spencer’s feet…did you get a pic of that?!? Wasn’t it like the Hobbits?
Thanks again for the outfit! I am sure these 2 girls really are DOUBLE Trouble! BTW, the dress washed well and still in great shape even after all the running around they both did. Big plus for a mom of 4. Clothes that don’t fall apart after a washing!
Celina!- The ability to wash and wear our garments over and over again, is something we pride ourselves on. We are constantly getting great comments just like yours on the “wash-ability” of our garments! It is so nice to pass great pieces on to other siblings or friends, and I believe that is something we definitely excel in! I am so glad Sophia received the Strawberry Fields dress for her birthday! It is a perfect style and color for her, she just looks fabulous!
I was so happy to see Sophia in this dress! I loved this dress from the get-go. I was working today with the factory on an “encore” to this dress – different fabric, etc. Of course it will still have the great “hand-me-down” ability – like all le top clothes! Our biggest challenge – doing it better next season! The next thing you will see is the results from our work in Hong Kong – new styles, new colors – same great clothes for kids!
le top clothes definitely hold up to washings. I was given some le•top hand-me-downs from a friend, and they are in fabulous shape. One was a bathing suit, and I got a lot of use out of that.
