My baby shower is approaching, and I’m giddy with excitement! Last night, as my husband was checking the doors to get ready for bed, he opened the front door to discover two boxes. I love finding packages at the front door, especially when they’re addressed to ME. It wasn’t my birthday, so I realized that baby shower presents must be arriving by mail.
I ripped open the big box first. Inside were a few of the items from my baby registry: bibs, car seat protector, and a baby sling. SCORE! I appreciate friends and family who purchase off the registry list because those are the things that we need.
I opened the next box and inside were two smaller boxes: one with a blue bow tied around it, and the other with a pink bow. Oooh… I am loving this! This person knows we’re waiting to find out the gender of our baby, AND recognizes that I would like to dress my little munchkin in the right colors.
Oh, my goodness!…The coveralls are adorable…Awww! (How many times do you hear “Awww” at a baby shower?) The matching blankets are double-layered, thick, and square – the perfect shape for swaddling baby, because we moms know that rectangle-shaped blankets are useless when it comes to swaddling. And although these clothes weren’t on my registry, I realized I need these, too. They’re exactly what I need for bringing home baby from the hospital – they’re in le•top’s “preemie” sizes – a fully accessorized and perfect fit for that first ride home (not to mention creating more “Awwww” moments!) .
Both outfits and matching blankets are from le•top’s Spring 09 baby collection: Baby Train and Pretty Primrose. These collections are currently shipping to your favorite le•top stores…so now you can guess which fairy godmother sent me these fabulous surprise gifts…THANK YOU, CHRIS!! My little baby…girl or boy…is going to be one fashionably dressed babe with le•top!
Georgia H. runs “baby baby” in Rochester, MN, inside the Kahler Grand Hotel! She is one of the most wonderful people I know, and her staff is just fantastic! You are sure to have excellent service and a great shopping experience if you visit the store in person, or if you log onto her website! Happy shopping!
….p.s. Jamee- and can’t wait to see which one of these outfits will be used on your way home!!
My daughter is leaning toward Pretty Primrose. My hubby is learning toward Baby Train. I’m leaning against a wall because I can’t believe I have ONLY 9 weeks left until this baby arrives.
Hahahaha!! Jamee, you always make me laugh. I’m leaning towards Baby Train, too! Gooooooooo Baby Train! 😀
“Baby Train” is one of my absolute favorite groups that MaryKate and I have ever worked on! I love that group 🙂
