It’s always a sad time for me and sweetie when we have to take down the ornaments and lights and say good-bye to our wonderfully fragrant and handsome Christmas tree. We’re hoping to keep “Mr. Twee” up for another week or so. What about you?

I HATE losing our beautiful tree! Paul and I never put our tree up until the week before Christmas, because we are in Hong Kong up until then working on the collection. We love the smell and the beauty of the tree – and we have a collection of ornaments that are treasured – especially the kid’s from their ‘early years.’ Some of these ornaments only have beauty in our eyes – remembering Christmas’ past!
I love having the tree up over the holidays and all the lights. It’s so beautiful and festive. When we wake up in the morning and go out to the living room my daughter says “lights” and points to the tree. That’s my queue to turn on the lights. Though I have to admit by the time the 1st rolls around I can’t wait to get the tree down. It gives me that nice, clean, uncluttered start to the year.
