Our first Holiday Display entry!

Featured above is the window display at one of the Kidiniki stores in Northern California. Kidiniki is a children’s store that carries the le•top clothing line. They are located in Mill Valley and San Francisco (Embarcadero Center).

Lilah Visits the Office

I brought my daughter into the office this morning for a quick visit and to try on some clothes. As usual she walked around with me staring blankly at everyone, not really giving an indication that she was happy to be here. Everyone in the office said, “Hi Lilah” in their sweetest voices and talked to her. No response. A few people did their best to make her smile by bobbing behind me while I held her. They made funny faces and sounds, anything to get a rise out of her.

Pregnant at 24 Weeks: An interesting observation

After months of waiting, I can finally feel the baby move. This is what I most remembered when I was pregnant the first time. That first kick from the baby inside makes it all REAL.

Tonight something interesting happened. My husband and daughter were sitting next to me—playing around. Miranda squealed with glee as she was being tickled. Then the baby kicked me. Daddy tickled her again, then the baby kicked me once again. Every time Miranda laughed or squealed, the baby kicked me. It was so cute!

It’s quite amazing to witness the sibling connection at such an early time! I can’t wait for my two children to meet face-to-face. Sixteen more weeks to go…
